Water Corporation has expanded their Waterwise Development Program to include new endorsement and recognition criteria to highlight excellence in creating Waterwise Developments.
As part of the program expansion, Water Corporation has expanded endorsement options to include projects certified by Green Star Communities, One Planet Living and Living Community/Building Challenge programs, in addition to Enviro Development. Water Corporation may also consider other certification programs on a case by case where justification is provided by the applicant.
In addition to endorsement, Developments can now also apply for recognition as a Gold or Platinum Waterwise Development.
How to apply for recognition
- Step 1: Complete the application form, providing evidence and responses to Gold and/or Platinum criteria, if recognition is desired.
- Step 2: Submit application to WEpartnerships@watercorporation.com.au by 31 October each year.
Being the first year, recognition winners will be formally announced at a special recognition event (details to be finalised), and thereafter will be recognised at our annual Waterwise Recognition event held in May each year. Winners will also receive a waterwise recognition logo to promote their Waterwise status.
