Climate change in Western Australia, combined with increased water demand due to population growth, presents significant challenges in managing and sustainably using our water sources and supporting liveable communities. Through the Waterwise Council Program and other Waterwise Programs, collaboration with local governments, businesses and industries is able to improve water efficiency, climate resilience and liveability.
The water community gathered on Wednesday 7 May 2025 at the Waterwise Recognition Event to celebrate the demonstrated successes and leaders in these programs.
