Kittyhawk Carpark is a good example of at source infiltration, with next to no maintenance.
This project was a reconstruction of the carpark which had failed. Organic material was found under the carpark which required it to be excavated. As this work was being undertaken, it was decided to incorporate the tree cells and assist with drainage, canopy cover to minimise the heat island effect and to reduce infrastructure damage in the future from the trees.
