Chianti Private Estate is a small estate abutting Yellagonga Regional Park which includes important wetland areas.
Objectives
- Ensure the development will not impact on the health of Yellagonga Regional Park wetlands through treatment of stormwater prior to discharge.
Results
- Treatment of small rainfall event runoff at source in verge swales;
- Good use of at source soakage devices;
- Residents taking ownership of landscaping the verge swales including operation of a “community bore”.
