Optimal Actions to Reduce Nutrient Emissions in the Canning Catchment

This presentation was part of the Water Sensitive Cities Speaker Series. The results of a research project determining cost-effective methods to reduce nutrient emissions in the Canning Catchment are discussed. Actions analysed include septic tank infill, constructed wetlands and change of fertilizer use. Each scenario was assessed for efficacy and cost, while understanding impacts of Nitrogen and Phosphorus emissions.
