Evermore Heights, a 374-lot estate co-developed by Satterley Property Group Pty Ltd and LandCorp, showcases water-sensitive urban design across private and public spaces. Residents enjoy a dual reticulation system for non-potable water, supported by WELS rated appliances and waterwise landscaping incentives.

Rainwater harvesting and permeable paving are encouraged, with raingardens treating stormwater on-site. Nutrient-filtering swales and infiltration basins manage larger storm events, while preserving natural areas and promoting native vegetation.

Challenges included governance, cost assessment, and community engagement. However, Evermore Heights exceeded its goal, achieving a 68% reduction in scheme water use, with over 150 homes benefiting from rainwater tanks. The project influenced Water Corporation’s policies on alternative water supplies, marking a significant step towards sustainable urban development.
