New WAter Ways WSUD Training Sessions 

New WAter Ways delivers a number of training sessions to build industry knowledge and optimise water sensitive urban design outcomes across our communities.

The series “Context is critical – using site context to guide WSUD solutions” is framed around site conditions that are representative of the landscapes of the Perth and Peel region. Additional sessions have also been developed to provide more detail around key areas of application. 

Training Schedule for 2025;

1.  WSUD for greenfield development in sandy soils Tuesday 28 January
2. WSUD for greenfield development in areas with shallow groundwater Tuesday 25 February
3. WSUD for development in the hills Tuesday 25 March
4. WSUD for infill development Tuesday 22 April
5. Integrating WSUD into public spaces Tuesday 13 May
6. Using water balances to understand site context and conditions Tuesday 27 May

We welcome anyone from industry including Councillors and senior decision-makers, local and state government and industry planners, engineers, landscape architects, asset managers and developers.

Time: 9.00am – 12.30pm (AWST)
Cost: $55pp (incl. GST) for each session, includes morning tea

Event Address: SESSION 1, 28 January 2025 will be held at Water Corporation Kweeljup Room, 629 Newcastle Street, Leederville.
