Invitation: Decision Process information sessions

The Department of Water invites you to an information session about the updated Decision Process for Stormwater Management in WA: Draft for Consultation, to hear about the document’s main approaches and criteria and to provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

Multiple disciplines (e.g. engineers, landscape architects, planners, environmental officers) from local governments and the urban development industry are encouraged to attend.

Information sessions will be at the following locations:

  • City of Rockingham Reception Room, Wednesday 14 September, 1pm until 3pm. Join us at 1pm for a presentation and question session, followed by refreshments and networking.   • The Atrium Theatrette, Level 4, 168 St Georges Terrace, Perth, Friday 16 September, 11am until 12:30pm. Please RSVP to emma.monk@water.wa.gov.au by COB Wednesday 14 September.
  • The Old Midland Courthouse, 49 Helena Street, Midland, Wednesday 21 September, 9:30am until 11:30am. Join us at 9:30am for refreshments and networking, followed by a presentation and question session from 10am. Thank you to the City of Swan for providing the venue. What is the Decision Process for Stormwater Management in WA?

The decision process outlines the State government’s approaches and criteria for planning and designing new and existing (retrofitting) stormwater systems throughout Western Australia.
This, the third edition of the Decision Process, is a part of the Department of Water’s Stormwater Management Manual for Western Australia.
The Decision Process is open for comment until 21 October 2016.
