What are the benefits and costs of changing conventional public-open-space designs to alternatives that require less water?
Through 5 studies, this research addresses the environmental, social, and economic costs and benefits associated with different urban greening strategies.
This presentation will be given by Claire Doll who is completing a PhD in environmental economics at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Her research applies revealed- and stated-preference non-market valuation and benefit-cost analysis in evaluating the impacts of changing conventional public-open-space designs to alternatives that use less water.
