The Atrium, Department of Water and Environmental Regulation

Drainage for Liveability was launched by the Water Corporation and the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation as a collaborative program 18 months ago and was driven by a shared vision of Perth as a Water Sensitive City.  Working with interested community groups, local authorities and the development industry, the aim of the program is to make better use of the green spaces around drains and drainage infrastructure in our urban environment. The call was put out to local authorities to submit ideas for enhanced social amenity and environmental outcomes at Water Corporation drainage assets.

This talk, presented by Suzanne Brown, Drainage and Liveable Communities Manager at the Water Corporation, and Tim Sparks, Manager Urban Water from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, will provide an update on the progress of the program and showcase some on-ground achievements.
