As we head north through the City of Wanneroo, Peter Erskine, the Acting Manager of Land Development at Wanneroo, will talk us through a number of assets that have been built over the past 6 years. Together we will examine the application of water sensitive urban design criteria and the outcomes that have been delivered on the ground.

From swales to biofilters, overland flow paths and tree pits, there are a number of assets that have been installed in response to water sensitive urban design criteria. This tour will look at the different types of outcomes that can be achieved in a range of urban settings.

One of the sites on the tour will give attendees a chance to evaluate what they see and comment on the translation of water sensitive principles into a piece of public open space. We will ask the question: What would you do in the same situation?

The seats on the tour are limited and is on a first-in basis. To book a seat please click here, or copy and paste the following link in your browser: https://goo.gl/forms/OFVxOYe1gbOZeUOW2

Alternatively, if google forms are not available to you, or for any other questions, please email info@newwaterways.org.au to register your interest. You will be issued an invoice, payment of which guarantees your place on the bus.
