It’s time to review the guidelines, gather your team and get yourself ready to start your submission for the prestigious 2019 UDIA WA Awards for Excellence.

We have made a few small changes to the categories into which you can enter to further broaden the pool and allow us to continue to recognise the best of the best in the West Australian industry.

5 STEPS TO 2019 UDIA WA AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE GLORY

1. Review the 2019 Guidelines here and choose your categories.

2. Explore the UDIA website awards page here and see winners from previous years – a great way to see standout projects previously awarded in your chosen category.

3. Gather your project team and get a head start on understanding the relevant criteria and supporting documents you will need to make your submission stand out from the rest.

4. Note the key dates (below) and the additional categories added to the 2019 program. This year we have added the following additional categories:

– Excellence in Marketing
– Diversity in Development

Just another way that we are expanding the programs reach and recognition of the stand out performers of the urban development industry.

5. Start your entry!

For 2019 and beyond, we have  implemented an online nominations process. This is going to save you and your team a lot of time, and will streamline and simplify the process. It is a very easy to use platform, and you should have no trouble navigating it. However, if you get stuck at any point just contact UDIA WA and we can assist.

It’s an exciting year for the program- this year you have 12 weeks to start, refine and submit your entry, but we suggest you get started early!

Wednesday 1 May: Nominations Open

Friday 26 July: Nominations Close

Monday 5 – Friday 16 August: Judging including site visits

Saturday 21 September: UDIA WA Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner
