Improve your understanding of water sensitive urban design principles, practices and possibilities!

This training provides introductory information on water sensitive urban design processes and concepts in the context of south-west landscapes. The session will cover:

  • Integrating water into the planning and development system – policy updates and new approaches
  • Designing stormwater management systems in south-west landscapes
  • How do we deliver multifunctional landscapes that don’t cost a fortune to maintain?
  • Improving design, documentation and delivery of outcomes.
It will focus on practical implementation of WSUD in a development context, featuring examples from Albany and a site visit so please wear some sensible shoes.

This session is aimed at local government, industry planners, engineers, landscape architects, asset managers and developers to assist the industry better deliver water sensitive cities.
