Perth Data Science Week 2018

Perth Data Science Week (DSW) aims to promote data science activities undertaken by Perth organisations and highlight data science careers to a wider audience.

In 2018, we are focussing on “jobs and opportunities” arising from data science.

We want to make data science accessible and not a mysterious ‘black box’.  We encourage events from organisations that involve everyone (from primary schools through to universities, government and industry)

DSW is based on a ‘distributed’ organisational model, where organisations run and organise their own events while marketing themselves with the Perth DSW logo and relevant hashtag (#DSW18) to create a week-long series of events that celebrate Perth Data Science.
