BoorYul-Bah-Bilya is a new initiative led by BNAA which aims to establish a new blueprint for healthy waterways through development of a community-led, integrated plan for an entire river catchment: the Mandoon Bilya-Helena River. The plan will be developed by a collective of Noongar Traditional Owners and local community members, including local and state government agencies, through a series of collaborative initiatives that focus on sustainability of the river’s environmental, cultural, social and economic values and shared community knowledge.
