Mainstreaming Waterwise Masterclass Series 2020  aims to build the capacity of professionals across Western Australia to deliver resilient and liveable cities and towns through integrated place-based planning.

Masterclass 4: Communication and influence – 19 August

 

Expert speakers:

A/Prof Helen Fordham, Associate Professor, Media and Communications, UWA
Helen is an experienced Researcher, Writer, Educator and Communication Strategist with a strong links to water resources management.

Jeremy Maher – Manager, Sustainability and Environment, City of Bayswater
Jeremy’s vision and leadership has led to industry wide recognition and policy changes that resulted in better outcomes for the community and the environment. Jeremy was the WA Water Professional of the Year in 2019.

Shelley Shepherd – Director, Urbaqua
Shelley is the Program Manager of New Water Ways. She has been working with industry for over 15 years to improve the understanding and delivery of water sensitive cities.

 

The classes will run between 9am and 4pm and are to be held at Saxon’s Training Facility, L1/140 St Georges Tce, Perth. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Cost: $195 (excl GST) per Masterclass.
