Planners have a dual role in ensuring demographic and future societal changes and challenges are taken seriously. Public spaces and places fit for older Australians to safely engage in physical activity and remain socially connected is essential.
The Workshop will equip participants with shared learnings that the Heart Foundation, in collaboration with HASSELL and The University of Western Australia have determined through undertaking a Rapid Evidence Review in the space of Healthy Active Ageing. This includes theory, real-life examples that support the adaption of Healthy Active Ageing principles into planning, including a practical walk-shop element.
