This year’s tour is all about engaging your community and building support for green space projects, a key theme that emerged following the discussions at the 2018 Green Light tour.
In the words of one developer, “if you don’t get the community on board, you’re in for a long, drawn out process!”
The tour will present brand-new community research commissioned by Hort Innovation about community perceptions around green space, and will also provide practical support for both councils and developers wanting to bring community along on their green space journeys.
In collaboration with our partners, we are curating a program of speakers and workshops that will provide policy insights, practical advice on implementation, case studies and tips and tricks to get the community involved.
