This year’s annual conference will be hosted by the EIANZ Victorian Division and provides an exciting opportunity to share knowledge, expertise and ideas around the theme How good is science!? The double punctuation in this year’s theme is deliberate and invites presenters and participants to decide on how they will approach the theme. We look forward to you joining us in what promises to be an exciting and thought-provoking event.
The conference will be held on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 November with field trips on Wednesday 10 November 2021.
Registration Options
This year EIANZ is offering various options for delegates to attend the conference including in-person or online.
The in-person event will be held in Melbourne’s CBD at the Grand Hyatt, 123 Collins Street, Melbourne. The full conference program gives you the added benefits of being able to network with your peers and includes access to the conference cocktail party on Monday 8 November and the choice of two all-day field trips in and around Melbourne on Wednesday 10 November. This is an all inclusive price being offered to both EIANZ members and non-members.
Online Option 1 gives delegates the opportunity to view the keynote speakers via a livestream and have access to the full suite of the concurrent sessions via pre-recorded presentations. Online Option 2 gives delegates access to the full suite of pre-recorded concurrent speakers presentations.
Field Trips
There are two very different field trips on offer for delegates as part of their full conference package. Field trip 1 is the “Melbourne Sustainability Showcase” where delegates will visit ARUP Sky Park, Melbourne Zoo, the MCG and finish their day with a visit to Urban Alley Brewery. Field Trip 2 will be “A day out West” where delegates will visit the Werribee Open Range Zoo and the Western Treatment Plant. Both fascinating in their own right but up to you to choose which trip suits you best!
