FREE- 5 Day – Authorised Officer Training Course
Over the last 12 months by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) in conjunction with WALGA has delivered the Environmental Protection Act authorised officers training successfully to about 60 local government officers including EHO’s, Rangers, Waste and Building compliance officers. We’re now looking to extend this exciting five day face-to-face interactive training opportunity training to the regional areas with our first regional course being hosted by the Shire of Busselton in November.
The training includes both theory and practical exercises. It covers the Environmental Protection Act and Litter Act, evidence collection, intelligence, and inspection planning, assessing and managing risk, compliance and enforcement tools and interview techniques.
