This training session will provide practical guidance on the process and approaches that can be used to demonstrate compliance with the Decision process for stormwater management in WA, which was revised by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation in 2017.
This training module has been developed by New WAter Ways to provide participants with a practical understanding of the policy guidance including different options for management of small events, outlining the process of conceptualisation, design and documentation.
It will include a presentation on the criteria and approaches, followed by a practical workbook session for participants using case study examples.
This course is aimed at hydrologists, engineers and those undertaking land use planning approvals, as well as anyone with an interest in urban water management.
