Community services and the people they support are on the front lines of climate change—from heat stress and sweltering homes to storm- and flood-damaged houses and community centres; financial hardship to supply chain disruptions affecting access to health care and increasing rates of distress, anxiety, and DV.
How prepared are you, your organisation, and your communities for these climate and disaster impacts?
This two-part workshop series aims to support community service organisations across Western Australia in incorporating climate justice and disaster resilience into programs, practices, and governance. It will draw from the Climate Justice and Disaster Resilience Toolkit and promote community-led resilience and action planning to prepare and respond to impacts now and into the future.

- Date: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th November 2025
- Time: 1-4pm (including a break) both days.
Who it’s for: any staff, volunteers, managers or committee members of community service organisations in WA, including health services, Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations, community centres and NDIS providers. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience; this workshop is designed to meet you where you are and will allow you to contribute to collective discussions.
