September Guest Speaker:

The Department of Planning Lands and Heritage (DPLH) recently released draft State Planning Policy 2.9 – Planning for Water, a comprehensive overhaul of the existing planning framework for water in Western Australia.  Chris Longley from Water Policies Unit at DPLH will provide some insight into Streamlining Planning for water in Western Australia including an overview of the intent of the planning reform, how it is expected to simplify and improve planning decision making for water, through consolidation of over 20 years of incremental policy change.
