The inaugural Connected by Water conference will bring together a national and international audience to sustainable water management in the West. The bi-annual Young Water Professionals Conference is combined with Connected by Water, offering a unique opportunity for our YWPs to reach a broader audience.
This cross-sector national conference will connect not only our water colleagues, but other stakeholders and industries that have an interest or dependency on the sustainable management of water including mining, energy, primary production and resources. Through technical content, site tours, networking opportunities and social functions, we will build relationships and foster opportunities to work together in the future.
Site tours are currently in development and will be a key part of our program. Don’t miss your opportunity to experience sites that are unique to the West and different to what you can see elsewhere in Australia.
Connected by Water will focus on where water underpins economic prosperity, communities, the environment and Indigenous connection to Country. It is an opportunity to discuss the intersection of water with other sectors across the economy considering current mega trends and macro issues.
