Submissions for the Banksia Foundation’s 2019 Banksia Sustainability Awards are now open.
From their conception 31 years ago, the Banksia Sustainability Awards have become the most prestigious and longest-running sustainability awards in Australia, inspiring excellence across all sectors of sustainability. The Banksia Sustainability Awards bring together and celebrate the most innovative, effective and outstanding people contributing to improving Australia’s sustainability.
The Awards recognise individuals, communities, businesses and government for their innovation and excellence in environmental and social stewardship.
The categories this year are Small Business, Medium Business, Large Business, NFP/NGO, Government, Academia/Research, Indigenous, Community, and the Minister’s Award for the Environment.
The Minister’s Award will focus on Australians who work to protect and care for our unique and natural environment. The Award recognises innovative projects with national significance that will inspire others to take action.
Entries for the 2019 Awards will close on August 2nd 2019 at 5pm.
