AWA WA Tertiary Engagement Program – Speaker EOIs

AWA WA are seeking expressions of interest from our WA members that would like join to our Branch representatives to speak at a tertiary engagement event in the future, by creating a database of potential speakers.

As part of WA Branch’s Tertiary Engagement Program, the WA Young Water Professionals (YWP) Sub Committee organise an event with one of the WA universities each semester. The format of the events vary from, for example, giving a guest lecture or a panel discussion giving a presentation to interested students during a common lunch break. The aim of the tertiary engagement events is to discuss what a career in the water industry can look like as well as to increase awareness of the Australian Water Association with our tertiary students.

If you are interested in being a potential speaker, could you please complete our SPEAKER EXPRESSION OF INTEREST SURVEY and provide us with some information about yourself including the sector you work in and your level of expertise and experience.

Please note that this is a long running program with only one event per semester so you may not be contacted immediately.
