COME CELEBRATE WATER WEEK

with us at our next

Water Industry Night

and hear about

the new Drainage for Liveability Program

TIME:    5.30 pm for a 6.00 start – 7.30 pm
DATE:    Tuesday 18 October 2016
PLACE:  Department of Planning, 140 William Street, Perth

As Perth transitions into a Water Sensitive City, the Water Corporation has collaborated with the Department of Water to develop the Drainage for Liveability Program, designed to enhance the value to the community of stormwater drains and basins across WA.

Stormwater drains and basins are not just functional assets. Correctly built, they can contribute greatly to the liveability of our communities, delivering improved drainage and surface water management together with enhanced community urban green spaces.

Tim Sparks, Manager Urban Water, Department of Water and Suzanne Brown, Manager Drainage and Liveable Communities, Water Corporation, will talk about the plans they have for the roll out of this new program and how you can get involved.

We are also excited to hear about progress and opportunities from a local government perspective, which will be provided by Jeremy Maher, Environmental Coordinator at the City of Bayswater.

Hope to see you there!

These events only happen with the generous support of our sponsors

Urban Quarter – providing refreshments to satiate the audience.

Department of Planning – providing a central venue to host the talks in.
